Although, Hanoi is the first city I visited and I fell in love with it as soon as I got there. The first sight and sound that I was welcomed with was that of chaotic busy streets of honking motorbikes and vivacious vendors that drew me in into its craziness.

Nevertheless, when I visited Hanoi, I took part in a costless walking tour that helped me learn more about the historical sites of the city. The guide told interesting stories about each of the sites, which helped to enhance my cultural appreciation even more. In addition, I was at Dong Xuan Market, which is very busy, and spent time, so much time that I forgot about the hours, looking at beautiful bright fabrics and eating delicious fresh fruits. The local people were very hospitable and kind to me offering a place at the table and food. The lively atmosphere of the city reassured me and I felt very much a part of it.
The following target city was Tbilisi, which almost seemed to have stepped out of a postcard. The architectural combination of the ancient with the modern was enthralling and a feeling of awe came over me instantly. Georgia’s capital city Tbilisi is renowned for its most impressive architecture and cultural integration. Also, the city is filled with a web of winding streets, vibrant structures, and a wealth of history, which has made it one of the most attractive and affordable travel destinations in Europe.

In Tbilisi, I would find myself perusing the streets of the Old Town in the afternoons taking pictures of the numerous colored murals and interesting balconies. After Tbilisi, I found myself in Bogotá, a city bursting with culture and energy. The friendly atmosphere made me feel right at home. Bogotá is the capital of Colombia, and is a city rich in history and culture, surrounded by the Andes mountains. Thereupon, I spent hours in the Alfama district, discovering local shops and hidden viewpoints. In the evenings, I enjoyed Fado music in a small café, where the soulful melodies of the singers gave me goosebumps. Yet the atmosphere was so intimate that I felt a deep connection to the culture.
Next on my adventure was Chiang Mai, a city surrounded by lush mountains and famous for its temples.
